Experiencing The Rise of The Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge | Hollywood Studios Walt Disney World
What to do at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
It’s time to continue the Walt Disney World content this morning! Getting up at 6 am to walk around Galaxy’s Edge before the park opened was one of the most incredible experiences ever! Star Wars fan or not, Galaxy’s Edge is so cool.
It wouldn’t be a typical Simply Taralynn blog without the classic coffee shot. What is better than enjoying a cup of hot coffee in an empty Walt Disney World theme park? Talk about one of the best mornings ever!
After exploring the empty walkways of Galaxy’s Edge, we had a group breakfast at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

Disney Park Hopper Plus Pass
We used a Disney Park Hopper Plus pass for the week and made everything convenient. It allows you to make a theme park reservation, and then you can park hop after 2 pm at any of the other Disney World parks. So if you can’t get a reservation for a park during your trip, no worries, you can go after 2 pm! We had a reservation for all the parks early in the mornings and then hopped over to other parks later in the day.
Making Reservations with My Disney Experience App
Reservations are easy to make on the My Disney Experience App (and from your computer if you’re signed in). After making reservations, they’ll be linked to your Disney magic bands. When making reservations for your family, you can also link the plans to theirs. If you don’t have a magic band, you can use your phone as one. The magic bands are the best things in the world! If you don’t want to bring a purse to the parks, you can swipe your watch for payment and passes!
Transportation at Disney Parks Disney World
Disney Skyliner
After spending the morning and early afternoon at Hollywood Studios, we headed to the resort to spend the day at the pool and then headed back later when the crowds settled down and the temps got cooler!
Getting around the Disney parks is a breeze with the busses, the monorail, and the Skyliner! The Skyliner lines go so fast! If you see a line with many people, your wait time may be fifteen minutes. They’re constantly getting people on and off the Skyliner.

Luke Skywalker can be seen enjoying blue milk in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and green milk in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi.
You can also step it up with the Blue Milk and Green Milk Coolers. The Blue Milk Cooler is served with Bacardi Rum, and the Green Milk Cooler is served with Corazon Blanco Tequila.
