When people ask me which Walt Disney World park I love the best, I always tell them “The Animal Kingdom.” I find that it’s less crowded, the food is out of this world, they have incredible drinks, and two of my favorite thrill rides, Expedition Everest and The Flight of Passage. You can’t plan a Walt Disney World trip without adding The Animal Kingdom to your itinerary, and sometimes twice!

We spent our morning at The Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios to get on the rides, an hour in the pool at our resort, and then hopped over to The Animal Kingdom or Epcot at 2 pm for the rest of the evening.

We used a Disney Park Hopper Plus pass for the week, which made everything convenient. It allows you to make a theme park reservation, and then you can park hop after 2 pm at any of the other Disney World parks. So if you can’t get a reservation for a park during your trip, no worries, you can go after 2 pm! We had a reservation for all the parks early in the mornings and then hopped over to other parks later in the day.

Purchasing Tickets and Passes at Walt Disney World

Reservations are easy to make on the My Disney Experience App (and from your computer if you’re signed in). After making reservations, they’ll be linked to your Disney magic bands. When making reservations for your family, you can also link the plans to theirs. If you don’t have a magic band, you can use your phone as one. The magic bands are the best things in the world! If you don’t want to bring a purse to the parks, you can swipe your watch for payment and passes!

No matter how often I visit The Animal Kingdom, I’m always running into new foods, attractions, and things I’ve missed out on. Check out my other Animal Kingdom blog posts so you don’t miss out on some of my other favorites.

The Ultimate Day at The Animal Kingdom Walt Disney World | What to Eat | What to Do

We were at the park a few years ago when a massive rainstorm hit. Almost everyone left, and we ended up having no lines on some of my favorite rides! We sat on Expedition Everest ten times in a row without getting off. Honestly, I could ride that rollercoaster all day. I love going to Disney with people who love thrill as much as I do. If the rollercoaster is fast, goes upside down, backwards, drops low, or is pitch black, count me in! Hopefully, my son will think I’m the cool mom one day and get on all the rides with me!

Plan your Disney World Trip!

After 2020, everyone is making their way to Disney World. As soon as you book your trip, start making those reservations. Give yourself atleast two months out to start planning. You can go last-minute, but you may not be able to experience everything you hoped to. Even if you’re unsure, you want to dine somewhere, book, and cancel later if necessary. You can also refresh your My Disney Experience App to see if reservations open up. We had a few spots open up last minute that we had wanted to dine at. And if you can’t make your Disney reservation, make sure to cancel in advance to give someone else the chance to take it.

The Tree of Life is the most well-known attraction at the Animal Kingdom. There are so many spots while walking Discovery Island Trails in the park where you can get a great view and a perfect picture. The Tree of Life represents the Circle of Life by honoring the animals.

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is around 145 feet tall and has over 300 animals carved into the tree. And don’t forget to look for the hidden mouse in the branches!

What to wear to The Animal Kingdom

You want to dress comfortably for the park! There is one water ride that has the potential to get you completely soaked, so bring a poncho or something you don’t mind getting wet. We spent most of the time outdoors, so we planned according to the weather.

Here’s what I wore: Shoes| Leopard Leggings | White Oversized Crop Top | Mini Green Backpack | Sun Hat

I’ve been to The Animal Kingdom more times than my one hand can count, and I love trying out new spots to eat! It’s best to go with someone who likes to split meals and snacks throughout the day. That allows you to try more options!

Buffalo Chicken Chips Trilo Bites

I’m not a huge Buffalo flavor fan, but I’ll still eat it. We tried the Buffalo chicken chips at Trilo-Bites DinoLand U.S.A. and they were so good! They’re a great snack with protein and carbs to kickstart the afternoon!

Rides at The Animal Kingdom

Avatar Flight of Passage
This is one of my top five favorite rides in Walt Disney World. I’m a big Avatar fan, so this was right up my alley.

Kali River Rapids
Prepare to get soaked!

Expedition Everest
I will go on this rollercoaster over and over again! We got lucky one year when it rained, and almost everyone left the park. We were able to sit on the rollercoaster and ride it as many times as we’d like and not get off because no one was in line!

Na’vi River Journey
This is a relaxing ride and a great way to get out of the heat!

Kilimanjaro Safaris
I loved the Safari and learning about the animals.

We were looking forward to having Yak & Yeti all day! After working up an appetite, we ordered the pork egg rolls, honey sesame chicken with fresh vegetables and white rice, chicken fried rice, and a mini mango pie!

Don’t ask how we did it, but we saved room for Mr. Kamals. How can you pass up chicken dumplings and seasoned ranch fries? Again, it’s best to go with a group of people who like to split everything so you can try all the delicious foods.

Mr. Kamals | The Animal Kingdom

What’s better than seasoned french fries on a hot day? Mr. Kamal’s fries were crispy, seasoned to perfection, and served hot! I hate when you get french fries, and they are cold and soggy. I’m not an experienced dumpling eater, but these were sooooooooo good.

Back in May, I had one of the BEST days at Disney Springs. I was invited down to Walt Disney World to experience some of the most incredible parks, food, and attractions Disney has to offer. I’ve been to Disney World many times but never experienced such a rush like this trip. When you’re planning your next Disney trip, do not leave Disney Springs behind. We spent half of the day at the pool and ended our day shopping around Disney Springs, getting our diplomas at Sangria University, making cupcakes at Erin McKenna’s Bakery, and filling our bellies with the most incredible food at Wolfgang Pucks!

It’s official, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is the absolute best restaurant I have ever been to. I’m tempted to hop on a flight to get dinner there and return. It is THAT good. We headed to our 6 pm reservation right after making delicious cupcakes.

If there is one place to splurge, it’s here.

Starting your meal with grilled bruschetta on ciabatta bread topped with soft mozzarella, pesto, and marinated tomatoes is necessary. It’s a crime not to! There wasn’t a bite left of this starter. We also went with the Waterkist farm heirloom tomato salad as a starter. It had local burrata, basil pesto, and aged balsamic over the top. The poached fruit added to this salad was like a fresh dessert! They change up the ingredients to make them seasonal.

We did one of those things where we both ordered something and just split our entrees up. You can’t go wrong with spaghetti and meatballs, and let me tell you, Wolfgang Puck knows how to do spaghetti and meatballs! The freshly made pasta noodles were topped with tomato sauce, parmesan Reggiano, and the most flavorful meatballs! We also had the mouthwatering pan-seared Scottish salmon. It was served over a chard salad, vegetables, and herb cream sauce. I don’t know if I’ve ever eaten salmon that tasted so good in my entire life. This restaurant is rated 100 stars!

I was shocked when the waiter brought over a cinnamon roll & caramel spiked milkshake and two espresso martinis. We had a lady come to our table asking if she could take a photo of it. Thank you so much, Walt Disney World, for giving me the most incredible experience.

  3. Do you ever split meals so that you can try more foods?

I had the Disney cravings this morning. I couldn’t stop thinking about taking a trip to Disney World, and so I started looking at flights, hotels, and so on. But then I decided to hop on the blog and start finishing up my Disney blogs to cure my cravings. I still have so many to write! We had a fun day planned for Hollywood Studios and The Animal Kingdom right after! I love how easy the transportation is at Walt Disney World. It makes everything stress-free while park hopping or resort hopping.

Disney Park Hopper Plus Pass

We used a Disney Park Hopper Plus pass for the week and made everything so convenient.

Transportation at Disney Parks Disney World – Disney Skyliner

Getting around the Disney parks is a breeze with the busses, the monorail, and the Skyliner! The Skyliner lines go so fast! If you see a line with many people, your wait time may be up to fifteen minutes. They’re constantly getting people on and off the Skyliner.

Breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe

The food at the Grand Floridian Cafe was absolutely delicious and one of the best breakfasts spots! I am totally adding this to the top three. It’s up there with Tonga Toast at the Kona Cafe and the breakfast buffet at Boma.

Let’s talk about the coffee!

I don’t know if it was all the park-hopping and lack of sleep, but that coffee was amazing!

As if breakfast wasn’t enough! When you’re at Disney World, you do SO MUCH walking that it works up an appetite, and we always shared our meals to help save room for the next.

Totchos Woody’s Lunch Box

We tried the Totchos at Woody’s Lunch Box. I WAS SO EXCITED about these! I plan to make them this weekend for fun. The totchos are tater tots coated with beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, signature queso, tomatoes, corn chips, sour cream, and green onions! Highly recommend adding ketchup, too 😆 Make sure to order these as soon as they open; otherwise, the wait time to pick them up could be hours! I placed the order as soon as Woody’s Lunch Box opened up.

Blue Milk Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge

I am going to make an entire blog post all about Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge. We spent a few of our days here, so it deserves its own post! We did get to do blue milk
after riding the Rise of Resistance and the Smugglers Run. Even if you’re not a fan of Star Wars, it’s still so much fun! Oh, and the verdict on the blue milk? Not that bad, actually!

Cream Cheese Pretzel Rock n Roll Roller Coaster

I am a cream cheese pretzel first-timer, and wow, am I a BIG FAN! We tried the cream cheese pretzel while waiting in line at the Rock n Roll Rollercoaster. It was absolutely delicious, and I’m not even into cream cheese desserts. If you plan to ride Tower of Terror or the Rock n Roll Rollercoaster, grab one of these pretzels while waiting in line!
hollywood studios, carrot cake

Carrot Cake Cookie Trolley Car Cafe

We picked up some desserts on our way out of Hollywood Studios. I had about 50 messages telling me to try the famous carrot cake cookie at Trolley Car Cafe! It was so delicious that I even packed a few in my suitcase for my dad 😝 We had the best morning and afternoon at Hollywood Studios! Coming up next is my Animal Kingdom blog!

Questions for you!

  1. Have you had the Totchos at Hollywood Studios?
  2. Have you ever packed a baked good in your suitcase to take home? 😆
  3. What is your favorite ride at Hollywood Studios?

2022 is the perfect time to pack your bags and head to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! You deserve it. Back in May, I was invited down to Orlando to explore some of the most popular Walt Disney World Parks. This trip was one of the most incredible experiences, and I’ll be sharing more blogs on my trip to Disney throughout the rest of the summer! We ate so much food, went on many rides, and experienced many fun Disney World attractions! disney w, prince charming regal carrousel, walt disney world parks, disney world walt disney world go magical express going to disney world disney world go wdw tickets disney tickets places to eat at disney springs places to eat at disney world, walt disney world orlando disney world orlando florida disney park tickets, the world of disney, disneyworld usa, art of animation, disney magical express, undercover tourist, cinderella castle, 2021,

Walt Disney World  – The Magic Kingdom

If you want to get on all the rides, I recommend getting there right when the park opens! We were able to sprint over to rides that had long lines like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Our wait time was about fifteen minutes, but the wait times were much higher later in the day. Plus, the weather is always better in the morning.

We used a Disney Park Hopper Plus pass for the week and made everything convenient.

Reservations are super easy to make on the My Disney Experience App (and from your computer if you’re signed in). After making reservations, they’ll be linked to your Disney magic bands. When making reservations for your family, you can also link the plans to theirs. If you don’t have a magic band, you can use your phone as one. The magic bands are the best things in the world! If you don’t want to bring a purse to the parks, you can swipe your watch for payment and passes! disney w, prince charming regal carrousel, walt disney world parks, disney world walt disney world go magical express going to disney world disney world go wdw tickets disney tickets places to eat at disney springs places to eat at disney world, walt disney world orlando disney world orlando florida disney park tickets, the world of disney, disneyworld usa, art of animation, disney magical express, undercover tourist, cinderella castle, 2021,

Breakfast at Tomorrowland Terrace Magic Kingdom

You can get breakfast before heading to the parks at any Walt Disney World Resort. It’s a tradition to get the Mickey waffles at least once while visiting. One of my favorite places to grab breakfast was at the Grand Floridian. Oh, and the Tonga Toast at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

We met our group at the Tomorrowland Terrace for breakfast at 8 am. It was like a dream come true to have coffee overlooking the Cinderella Castle. I love Disney so much because I never got to go when I was little. I’m just living out those childhood dreams right now.

Tomorrowland Terrace is a quick-service style restaurant with a delicious New England/American style menu. You can find foods like lobster rolls, fried shrimp, and chicken nuggets. It’s a large open area to sit down and cool off while enjoying the best view of the Cinderella Castle. It’s open from 11 am to 4 pm and makes for the perfect early lunch and dinner. pizza spring rolls adventure land walt disney world, cheeseburger spring rolls walt disney world, Adventureland, what to eat at magic kingdom, best food magic kingdom, disney itinerary, travel guide, Orland, best food, disney food blog, what we ate, must eat, disney 2021

Spring Rolls at Adventureland Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World

The best plan you can have at Disney World is to share food. That way you can try a little bit of everything! I took a poll on Instagram to see which foods I should try, and the Pepperoni pizza spring rolls and cheeseburger spring rolls at Adventureland came up the most. I thought it sounded nuts, but it skyrocketed to the top three favorite foods at Magic Kingdom after the first bite! Actually, maybe even in the top three of all the parks combined.

Now, you can expect me to try and recreate this on the blog soon! They were incredible.

You’ll want to swim in the sauce if you’re a marinara sauce lover. It was the BEST flavor! I couldn’t choose which one I liked better because they were equally good. Play it safe and get them both!

Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow

The next food item we tried was another popular suggestion, the fresh fruit waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow! It’s the cute and quaint brick cottage by Cinderella Castle. The waffle is filled with fresh fruit and Nutella. It doesn’t get much better than that!

You’re NEVER too old to stop and wave at the Disney Characters in the parade. Almost every hour during the day, they had a parade with characters. I highly suggest grabbing a waffle at Sleepy Hollow and staying in that area to get the best views.

Main Street Confectionary

I was devastated when I saw Main Street Confectionary was closed for renovations while we were there. I would make sure to stop into Main Street Confectionary before heading out! Grab some treats to take on the monorail or bus back to the resort, even if you go in to get the free smells! Hopefully, they open back up when you make your way to Disney World.

Main Street Bakery

To make up for Main Street Confectionary being closed, you get the next best thing, Main Street Bakery, a hidden Starbucks! They sell desserts you can only purchase at Disney, so it’s not your typical Starbucks. I love that Disney World has a Starbucks in all its parks, which blends in to match the theme. The best one is at Hollywood Studios. Cinderella’s Castle Magic Kingdom

One of the best parts about Disney World is that the flowers and decorations are forever changing! The flowers during this trip were breathtaking. I talked more about the flowers in my last Disney World Travel Blog at Epcot! When you squat down by the gated area of flowers, you can take a photo that makes it look like Cinderella’s Castle is far away in a flower field. It’s fun to get creative with photos at The Magic Kingdom!

Mickey Pretzel With Cheese at Liberty Square Market

It’s tradition to get the Mickey Pretzel! Although, I may have tried THE BEST Mickey Pretzel you could ever have! It’s at Hollywood Studios near the Rock n Roll Rollercoaster. It’s a sweet cream cheese pretzel, and it’s worth every bite! We waited in a long line, but it went by fast with the help of the pretzel. Ok, this isn’t a Hollywood studios blog (that’s coming later!)

So if you’re not going to Hollywood Studios and you want a Mickey Pretzel, grab one at the Liberty Square Market! They have dill pickles, hot dogs, snack foods, beverages, and fresh fruit. The line was so short, so perfect if you’re super hungry and need a quick bite to eat.

Open Rides and Attractions at Magic Kingdom

We rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and the Carousel.

There are some rides at Magic Kingdom that you ride once, and that’s just enough (unless you’re under the age of 8.) So if I didn’t go on a certain ride or attraction, it might be because I did it years before, and that was good enough…if you know what I mean. Like, no one needs to go into the Tiki Room more than once 😉 😂

Transportation at Disney Parks Disney World

Disney Skyliner

After spending the morning and early afternoon at Magic Kingdom, we headed to the resort to spend the day at the pool and then headed back to Magic Kingdom later in the evening when the crowds settled down, and the temps got cooler!

Getting around the Disney parks is a breeze with the busses, the monorail, and the Skyliner! The Skyliner lines go so fast! If you see a line with many people, your wait time may be up to fifteen minutes. They’re constantly getting people on and off the Skyliner. walt disney world, what to eat 2021, magic kingdom, sleepy hollow, Nutella fruit waffle, best food at disney, magic king doom food, disney travel blog, best disney, ultimate guide to disneyI had such a blast at Disney World! Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival: Walt Disney World Travel Blog

A week ago, I was invited down to Walt Disney World to experience one of the happiest places on earth! #happyplace We spent the week eating our way through Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival, drinking Blue Milk with Storm Troopers at Galaxy’s Edge, eating Nutella waffles from Sleepy Hollow and getting soaked on Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom, drinking Boba Rum Blossoms with the monkeys at Animal Kingdom, frosting cupcakes and shopping at Disney Springs, and soaking up the sun at our Walt Disney resort! If I were to write about the entire trip in one post, you would be here all day, so I’m breaking it all up into each park and then writing a final itinerary with travel tips to top it all off! The Walt Disney travel guides are my favorite to write! I love being able to live it all over again.

I was in pure bliss. What is better than flowers and food?

What to do at Epcot Summer

Epcot is such an underrated park, in my opinion. I feel like it doesn’t get the hype as much as the other parks! It has some of the best foods, gorgeous landscapes and architecture, and one of my favorite rides at Walt Disney World – Sourin! If you’re a flower and food lover like myself, it’s important to dedicate at least one day to Walt Disney World’s Epcot! Getting to experience the International Flower & Garden Festival was such a blast.

We were so lucky to be able to go a few hours before the park opened for a private tour of all the breathtaking gardens and the impressive topiary sculptures of famous Disney characters. It was fun to learn what goes into the design and upkeep of these gardens each year maintained by the talented horticulturists. The flowers are absolutely breathtaking, and it’s truly a dream for flower lovers like myself.

When you’re visiting during the International Flower & Garden Festival, make sure to look out for all the topiary sculptures!

Can you guess what these floating plants are? Prepare to be shocked!

Sweet potatoes!

Our goal for the day was to visit all of the countries in Epcot! This is why it’s important to plan a full day here (even if you have to take a mid-day nap break back at the hotel for a few hours.) Epcot showcases Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada! The architecture replicates popular spots from those countries, and you actually feel like you’re traveling to them.

The good thing about the food is that it comes in smaller portions, so you can experience more food in different countries instead of filling it up in one spot. We also split all of the food to help save room for the next cuisine. I think Miss Piggy was one of my favorite topiary sculptures. When designing the details of these sculptures, they use plants and colors that are on-trend. There was a lot of rose gold throughout the parks.

Ride Soarin at Epcot

Soarin is one of my FAVORITE attractions at Walt Disney World. You get to experience hang gliding (without actually hang gliding) around the world in just a few minutes. You feel the wind, experience the smells and the sounds of breathtaking wonders around the world. It’s for all ages, and I could ride that ride over and over again and never get sick of it. Epcot, drinks, food, Walt Disney World, Flower and Garden Festival, What We Ate At Epcot 2021, travel guide, Orlando Florida, Epcot blog, what is good at Epcot, what to get at Epcot, flowers, ultimate travel guide to walt disney world, skyliner, parks, park hopper,Epcot, drinks, food, Walt Disney World, Flower and Garden Festival, What We Ate At Epcot 2021, travel guide, Orlando Florida, Epcot blog, what is good at Epcot, what to get at Epcot, flowers, ultimate travel guide to walt disney world, skyliner, parks, park hopper,

It got so hot later in the day, so we found a shaded spot under an umbrella in Italy to hang out in. We didn’t dine alone though, we had traditional Sicilian cannoli and refreshing drinks to keep us company (for a short while if you know what I mean.) The frozen Italian Margarita with Limoncello and tequila is one of my favorite drinks from the day! 😋

You can still catch the bus or the monorail depending on where you’re headed, but experiencing the Skyliner for the first time was so FUN! It was convenient and super quick; even at the end of the night, when the line looked long, it only lasted about twenty minutes before we got a seat on the Skyliner. It has gorgeous views going over the parks and resorts.

We got our swimsuits on and took a good two-hour nap by the pool before heading back to Epcot for more food and fun around the world. THE BEST WALT DISNEY WORLD ITINERARY

Welcome to another Disney blog! If you haven’t noticed, I love visiting Disney. And lucky for me, I have a friend that loves it just as much. Caitlin is also great at putting together itineraries, so I thought I’d share our 7-day itinerary along with some tips to help you plan your next trip to Disney World. If you haven’t checked out our previous Disney posts, make sure you do so. We tried to do many different things to make this blog different from the last ones. The Ultimate Week Walt Disney World Itinerary Travel
When it comes to planning out your Disney trip, doing things in advance is the key. The whole “last-minute planning” thing won’t fly when putting together the ultimate Disney itinerary. Our trip was planned and paid for five months in advance. This will give you time to snag the fast passes, and reasonable rates on flights, hotels, and reservations at almost any restaurant. You’ll want all the stress of planning and trying to book reservations to be taken care of before heading on your trip. We always use My Disney Experience on the app to organize fast passes and reservations.

Thursday

⭕ Flight: CLT-MCO (6:30 am – 8:23 am (because we booked our flights so early, they were only $100 roundtrip. We decided to pay extra to check in a bag, but if you’re going for a short period of time, I would just bring a carryon.)

MAGICAL EXPRESS DISNEY WORLD

⭕ Magical Express to Caribbean Beach Resort (30-45minutes) If you’re staying in a Disney Resort, use the Magical Express to get to your resort. It’s a free shuttle, but you’ll still have to make a reservation.
The Ultimate Week Walt Disney World Itinerary Travel Caribbean Resort⭕11:30 AM – Check into Caribbean Beach Resort (this is an excellent resort if you want to spend some downtime by the pool)

CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT WALT DISNEY WORLD

-When you’re checking into the hotel, make sure you pick up your magic band and connect your card to it if you haven’t already done so. The magic bands are the best thing ever because you can use them to pay for everything at Disney. I didn’t carry my credit card with me at all. The bands will have your fast passes and park passes attached to them. The magic bands are the things you see us scanning in the vlogs.

⭕ Leave bags with guest relations, grab a snack, and head to ESPN to pick up race packets.

-Transportation at Disney is never stressful. You’ll be able to hop on a shuttle from your resort to any of the parks. If you don’t have time to wait on a shuttle, you can snag an Uber or Lyft anytime. Google maps will help you select the fastest busses around the parks. So if we wanted to take a shuttle to the breakfast spots. Google would have told us which “park” bus to take and from the park, and we would take the resort’s bus to the resort. This would have taken close to an hour, but it would have saved us $10.

**if you’re there for a race**
-We headed straight to the ESPN Wide World of Sports to pick up Caitlin’s race packets and walk around the expo. It’s good to get this done before it gets too busy and it’s the perfect way to pass a little time while you’re waiting for your room to be ready.
The Ultimate Week Walt Disney World Itinerary Travel Caribbean Resort⭕ 3:30 PM – Head to the hotel room, change into cooler clothes and grab a quick bite to eat at the resort.

Caribbean Resort Walt Disney World

The Caribbean resort had an outdoor bar by the pool. We ate here multiple times because the food was good and it was convenient. Before heading to the Magic Kingdom for the evening, we had their kale salad with Mahi and grilled jerk wings. The frozen drink is their pink guava.
vegan eats / dairy free / gluten free / dole whip / dole whip disney , walt disney world, magic kingdom⭕ 4:00 PM Head to the Magic Kingdom on the bus.

⭕ Try the Dolewhip at Aloha Isle!

DOLEWHIP AT DISNEYWORLD

I had so many people telling me that I needed to try the Dolewhip because it was dairy free. That was one of the first things I wanted to do at the Magic Kingdom. Verdict? AMAZING! I am a huge pineapple lover, so this treat was perfect for me. It was creamy and had a little sour zap to it. Thank you to all who suggested trying it out because I’m now a Dolewhip fan!
The Ultimate Week Walt Disney World Itinerary Travel Magic Kingdom churro cake pop fast passes
⭕ Tackle the fast passes

⭕ Space Mountain 4:10-5:10
No matter how often we ride this ride, it never gets old! Space Mountain takes you through this dark path with lights that make you feel like you’re time traveling through space.

FAST PASSES AT DISNEY WORLD

⭕ Haunted Mansion 5:25-6:25
This is a pretty cool ride! The detail and work they put into it are impressive. If you don’t like fast/spinny/or rollercoaster-type rides, this one is ideal for you. It’s also nice and cool, so it’s a great way to escape the sun.

⭕ 7 Dwarfs Mine Train 6:25-7:25
We missed this fast pass, so it’s on the list for next time.

I had the Dolewhip as my treat, but Caitlin had her mind set on the churro all afternoon. This is a great Disney staple as well!

⭕ Watch the Happily Ever After firework show (disclosure: you will ball like a baby)
The Ultimate Week Walt Disney World Itinerary Travel Caribbean Resort
⭕ Take the bus back to the resort for a quick dinner.
We wanted something quick, so we had dinner at the Banana Cabana again. We tried to get a good night’s sleep because we had a long day planned for Friday!

Our resort played movies outside and even had a bonfire with a marshmallow station, but we were way too tired to stay awake for it. They were watching Up when we walked by.

⭕10:30 pm-BED

Friday:

⭕ 8:00 AM – Breakfast at Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort)

BREAKFAST AT BOMA ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE RESORT

-We decided to take a Lyft to breakfast because it was at the resort, a mile from the Animal Kingdom (where the bus would have dropped us off at.)
breakfast at boma animal kingdom resort walt disney world travel plansBreakfast at Boma was incredible! The coffee was to die for, and who doesn’t love a giant buffet? The buffet was filled with everything you could ever want. Whether you’re gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, paleo, or just love breakfast carbs, they have exactly what you’re looking for. Trying the Jungle Juice is a must! That orange juice is a mixture of orange juice, mango juice, and passion fruit juice. The plantains were my favorite part of the breakfast. I put a little peanut butter on them, and now I want to make plantain peanut butter truffles for an upcoming blog.

Breakfast at BOMA

Planning a breakfast at Boma is a must if you’re spending a day at the Animal Kingdom!
The Animal Kingdom Walt Disney World Itinerary The Animal Kingdom Walt Disney World Itinerary Safari
⭕ 9:30 am: take the bus to The Animal Kingdom

⭕ Fast Pass for Kilimanjaro Safaris at 9:15-10:15 am
-I’m not one to visit zoos, I’ll never ever go to a circus, I hate the companies that attach horses to carriages and make them pull around lazy people, and I hate seeing animals in distress. Before going to the Animal Kingdom, I did a lot of research on how they treat their animals, and I was surprised. I did my research and read many articles that convinced me that these animals are treated incredibly. You won’t see bars or chains at the Animal Kingdom, and you could fit the entire Magic Kingdom park inside their Savannah.

KILIMANJARO SAFARIS ANIMAL KINGDOM

Here are some of the articles I read:

Is the Animal Kingdom Ethical or Unethical?

20 Things you may not know about Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Do You Know What’s Really Going On At Kilimanjaro Safaris?

& I read about ten Reddit forums from the vegan community, which surprised me.

I think it’s up to you to do your research and make a decision on how you feel about the animals. I felt good about their living environments, but I’m always open to learning more or hearing your thoughts.

⭕ Na’vi River Journey 11:45-12:45

-Next, we road the Na’vi River Journey in Pandora! If you’re an Avatar fan (which I am), you’re going to love this! We were burning up, so we decided to treat ourselves to some refreshing drinks from Satu’li Canteen. It’s a quick service in Pandora. I had a delicious Dreamwalker Sangria, and Caitlin had their Hawkes’ Grog Ale.

WHAT TO DRINK AT THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

⭕ Expedition Everest 10:45- 11:45am

Before heading to Expedition Everest (MY FAVORITE RIDE), I stopped at the Harambe Fruit Market for fresh watermelon. It was the best watermelon I’ve ever had! This is where I got the roasted corn and pineapple slices during our last trip.

If you like rollercoasters that are fast, scary, big drops, go backward, and bring the thrill, you’ll LOVE this one. We got so lucky because it was raining on our last night there, and no one was in line. We rode it four times in a row!
Walt disney world Caribbean resort salad dinner pool
⭕ 2:00 pm – Grab lunch and head to the pool for the afternoon.

POOL DAY DISNEY WORLD

We returned to our resort to take advantage of the weather and the pool for the afternoon. Caitlin had her first race in the morning, so we didn’t want to walk around too much. I picked up a kale salad from our quick service at the resort and brought it down to the pool with us. Our resort had private pools in each “country,” so we relaxed at the one in Jamaica. It was quiet compared to the main pool, and I fell asleep for an hour. Dinner at Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse WALT DISNEY WORLD
⭕ 5:30 take the bus to Epcot to walk around the Festival of the Arts.

EPCOT FESTIVAL OF ARTS

⭕ 7:00 PM Dinner at La Cellier Steakhouse

**I want to say this about Disney restaurants. They have a separate menu for any food allergies and take it very seriously. If you can’t have gluten or dairy or vegan, let your server know. They’ll bring you out a separate menu, and the chef will work with you to make sure it’s 100% dairy or gluten-free. You’ll never feel like you’re an inconvenience while dining. I hate going out to dinner simply because of this. If I eat gluten, my stomach expands, and it feels like my insides are being ripped apart. Dairy causes me to break out and also causes bloating. Since cutting it out of my diet, I have felt so much better, and it helps with my endometriosis pain. Being able to dine out and not have to worry about feeling the pain on vacation was very comforting.

For dinner, they brought out gluten & dairy-free rolls with vegan butter. They were soooo good. We decided to split the filet and ordered whiskey maple Brussels sprouts that were to die for!
EPCOT LIGHT SHOW WALT DISNEY WORLD

⭕ 8:00 PM World Showcase Light Show -The firework show at Epcot was pretty cool!

⭕ 9:15 PM Bed.

WALT DISNEY WORLD ITINERARY PRINCESS HALF MARATHON WEEKEND
⭕ 8:30 AM – Breakfast – Miracle Maker’s Breakfast with Children’s Miracle Network.

Caitlin runs for the Children’s Miracle Network, so we had breakfast with them after her race in Epcot. All of the Disney princesses are there to take photos, and it’s nice to hear the real-life stories of the families that Miracle Makers have helped. Walt Disney World Itinerary Caribbean Beach Resort
⭕ 11:00 AM – Pool day starts!

We grabbed a Margarita and a pink guava drink to take with us to the pool for an afternoon of relaxation! If you’re going to spend a lot of time walking the parks, or running the races in Caitlin’s case, you’ll want to schedule some pool time. You could also rent bikes or play volleyball at the resort if you wanted.

⭕ 2 PM Lunch at Banana Cabana – These kale salads were our favorites!

After lunch, we headed back to the room, took our showers, napped, and then got ready for the evening. Walt Disney World Itinerary Disney Springs Walt Disney World Itinerary Disney Springs Homecomin Chef Kitchen
⭕ 5:25 PM – Take the bus to Disney Springs for Dinner

⭕ 6:00 PM – Dinner reservation at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin Kitchen

We had the best seats in the house! We sat outside in the gorgeous weather right night to the amazing musicians playing. They were covering some of our favorite songs and putting twists on classic Disney songs.

DISNEY SPRINGS

The food was incredible! They also had their own gluten/dairy-free menu! I had their grilled grouper served over collard greens and kale with a side of roasted butternut squash. I loved how fresh and light the food was!

Oh, and let’s not forget the drinks! I had a Royal Sangria: red wine, fresh seasonal fruit, lime juice, and blackberry brandy. Whenever I’m ordering a mixed drink, I’ll always have them leave out the agave or any syrups because I don’t like things too sweet. Caitlin had the figs and berries drink which had fresh muddled strawberries with 1800 silver tequila, fig jam, agave, and lime juice. YUM!

⭕ 3:55 PM- Rock N Roll Roller Coaster – I can confirm that it goes upside down, it’s fast and SO FUN!!!

⭕ 4:45 PM- Tower of Terror – I was most excited about this one. Because Caitlin made me swim in the ocean (one of my fears) in Hawaii, she wasn’t allowed to back out of this one! If you love the feeling of free falling, this is your ride!
The Hollywood Brown Derby Dinner Hollywood studios
⭕ 6:15 PM- dinner reservations at The Hollywood Brown Derby Dinner

I had oats, fruit, and eggs for breakfast. Itinerary Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom Nomad Lounge Vegan food cocktails yucca fries
⭕11:30 Off to the Animal Kingdom!

This was a fun day because we met up with some of Caitlin’s family!

LUNCH ANIMAL KINGDOM

We grabbed drinks at the Nomad Lounge, and Caitlin grabbed a bite to eat. She had their Impossible Sliders (vegan options at Disney!) and Yucca fries on the side.

Are you wondering what the pretty looking drinks are? Well, they are Hightower Rocks! They were so delicious. We’re going to recreate this drink on our summer trip to Tahoe. They had Casa Dragones Blancos tequila, watermelon, sweet-and-sour, and lime juice!

⭕ 9:00 AM – Head to the Magic Kingdom for breakfast.

BREAKFAST AT BE OUR GUEST MAGIC KINGDOM

⭕ Breakfast at Be Our Guest in Belle’s Castle – to be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with this place. I wouldn’t say “it’s a must”, but it’s not a “bust” either.
Itinerary Walt Disney World Travel Itinerary Walt Disney World Breakfast Be our Guest If you plan on going here, you must have a reservation. Even though we had one, we had to wait in multiple lines. It was kind of like a cafeteria. You order your food at a kiosk and then find a seat wherever possible.

Now, please don’t feel like just because my experience here wasn’t that great that yours won’t be. There are places people have told us not to go or do, and we ended up loving them. So if this is on your list, try it out! I will say that the food was really good. And if you’ve been here and loved it, let me know in the comments!

I ordered the egg whites with chicken sausage and fresh fruit. They brought out these tasty gluten-free, vegan cakes for us that I wanted to somehow find the recipe for!

⭕ 1:00 PM – Lunch at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe! I had their gluten/dairy-free chicken taco bowl! 🌮

⭕ 2:00 PM – You guys voted for us to get Dolewhip, and I wasn’t mad! 🍦

⭕ 3:30 PM- Festival of the Lion King

⭕ 4:45 PM – Drinks at Pongu Pongu Lounge at Pandora – I tried the Rum Blossom (your vote), and it was out of this world. I could only have a few sips because that much sugar would have put me in the hospital, but dang, it was good!

⭕ 5:00 PM Flight of Passage – this is one of the most amazing experiences you’ll ever have! It reminded me of Soarin, but cooler! I can’t believe how real it felt. I want to go back just to do this over and over and over again!

⭕ 6:30 PM: Expedition Everest – we rode it about six times that day because no one was in line. Thank you, rain 😂

⭕ 7:00 PM Rivers of Light Firework ShowItinerary Walt Disney World Breakfast Be our Guest tuskers dinner with characters
⭕ 7:40 PM- Dinner at Tusker House – you’ll get to have dinner with the characters, and it was a giant buffet. The food was overwhelmingly delicious! This was such a fun night because Caitlin’s family joined us. We were all soaking wet and stuffing our bellies with the most delicious food!

-If you’re looking for more of a sit-down restaurant that isn’t a buffet or with characters, I highly recommend Tiffans! We ate their last time, and the food blew us away.

⭕ 8:45 PM – Bus back to the resort.
Wednesday

⭕ 8:00 AM – Breakfast at the resort

⭕ 11:00 AM – Leave bags with guest services and head to Disney Springs for lunch and hanging out.
disney springs itinerary bowling coffee the polite pig splitsville enzos hideaway ⭕ 12:00 PM – Lunch at The Polite Pig! – We both ordered the southern garden salad with smoked salmon. The salad had baby kale, radishes, blue cheese, pecan granola, and avocado-chipotle dressing on the side. It comes with the bacon-sorghum vinaigrette, but I recommend their avocado-chipotle dressing instead. We also ordered a side of whiskey maple brussels sprouts, and seasoned waffle fries. The food was fantastic. You don’t need a reservation at all. You can order your food and the counter and sit wherever you want.

⭕ 1:30 PM – I walked around all the shops & I picked up some chocolates for my family.

⭕ 2: 00 PM – Headed to Splitsville to bowl! This was so fun.

⭕ 3:45 PM- Stopped into Enzo’s Hideaway for some cocktails. This spot was on Caitlin’s list, so I’m glad we had the chance to knock it out. The food looked good, so we may hit it up next time we’re at Disney. I don’t ever order cocktails, so I thought I’d give one a shot (no pun intended.) I had the Limoncello Gimlet, gin, Caravella limoncello, and roasted thyme. The lemon was delicious, but I don’t think I’ll ever be a gin fan. I would have rather had a tall glass of lemonade, but luckily Caitlin liked it, so it didn’t go to waste. Caitlin had their Peacekeeper, which had monkey shoulder scotch, pineapple, Maraschino liqueur, lemon, angostura, and Prosecco. I tried hers and liked it a lot because it was fizzy and refreshing. This was a great spot to escape from the heat.

⭕ 4:20 PM – take the bus back to the resort to pick up our luggage and hop on the Magical Express to the Airport.

⭕ 5:45 PM – Arrive at the airport (try to be at the airport 2 1/2 hours before your flight at the latest!) Orlando is always crazy because of the Disney goers! Like us 😊

⭕ 7:00 PM – Dinner at the airport.

⭕ 8:30 PM – Flight leaves for home!

Things you don’t want to forget to pack: good walking shoes, a poncho, Tylenol, a water bottle to refill, a jacket, and some of your favorite on-the-go snacks!

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival – travel blog

I know I know. This blog is long overdue. I have no excuse for why I’m posting so late, but this blog got lost in the vault when vlogmas started pouring in. Because I’m doing 25 blogs in January, I knew I’d get around to it eventually. Plus, I have exciting news! Caitlin and I will be returning to Disney next month for an entire week! Caitlin created an exciting (and impressive) itinerary for our trip, and many of the restaurants and attractions were recommended by you guys from our last Disney adventures, so thank you!
Epcot food and wine festival, walt disney world, Orlando florida, traveling, disney itinerary, guide, travel disney, best tips, allergy friendly, gluten free, dairy free, traveling, eating food, countries, Today, I’ll be sharing photos from our day at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. It was the last day of our trip, and we were so exhausted from all of the walking and early mornings. Ending our trip with a lot of good food sounded like a good plan.

We were lucky to be in Disney World during Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. We planned to visit every single cuisine, but got rained out! I think we did pretty dang good though, and if the rain didn’t hit, we would have for sure made it. Not going to lie, Caitlin was the real MVP of the festival. She’s super-fit but can eat more than anyone I know. She ran the half marathon earlier in the morning, so she brought her appetite to Epcot. I’m excited for round two next month. You’ll have to follow along to see if we can complete it.
One of the cool things about the festival is the passport you get. If you watch my YouTube video, you’ll see us adding a stamp to all the countries we ate at. In the passport, you’ll get to look over the country’s menu and see what’s gluten-free, vegetarian, or kid-approved. I took a digestive enzyme before we started eating and picked around the dairy/gluten, but I’m sure I still indigested some of it. I didn’t want to be too strict, but I avoided it the best I could. I knew I was going to feel a bit bloated/uncomfortable after eating some of the foods, but it was all worth it. I know I’ll have a lot of people letting me know that things aren’t gluten/dairy free, but believe me, I know. 😊
First stop was Hawaii🍍 Each dish was $5 and super small, so this made it easy for sampling around the world. Each cuisine had about 3-5 options for you to choose from.

We had: Grilled Tuna Tataki with Seaweed Salad, Pickled Cucumbers, and Wasabi Cream
New Zealand:
Steamed Green Lip Mussels with Garlic Butter and Toasted Breadcrumbs (Caitlin enjoyed these! You couldn’t get me to eat a Mussel if you tried!!)
The Almond Orchard (hosted by Blue Diamond):
Fire-roasted Tomato Hummus topped with Blue Diamond Lightly Salted Roasted Almonds and served with Blue Diamond Artisan Nut Thins Multi-seeds Crackers.

Australia: Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Pepper, Onion and Snap Peas (GF)

This was delicious. Shrimp is a hit or miss with me because shellfish can make me nauseous, but I was fine with this one!

Canada: Canadian Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup served with a Pretzel Roll

Ireland: Roasted Irish Sausage with Colcannon Potatoes and Onion Gravy. I ate one of the sausages in this dish, and I’m pretty sure it was my favorite of the day.
France: Carbonade de Boeuf, Purée de Pommes de Terre: Beer-braised Beef with Bacon, Onion and Mashed Potatoes
Oh, and champagne if France, please!
We hit our first downpour while waiting for our food in Brazil.

Brazil: Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread Gluten Free. I ate around the cheese the best I could, but this bread was incredible!!!!

Morocco: Casa Pale Lager
Belgium:
Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream (V) (KA)
Japan: Spicy Tuna and Salmon Roll topped with Volcano Sauce
Hops & Barley (U.S.) New England Lobster Roll: Warm Lobster with Fresh Herb Mayonnaise and Griddled Roll.
This was our last stop because Caitlin and I were drenched with rainwater and it wasn’t a warm day either, so dry clothes sounded appealing!
We were going to go back and finish eating our way around the festival later in the evening, but we decided to go back to the hotel and nap for about four hours and then have dinner at Shula’s Steakhouse. We were so exhausted from early mornings and walking around the parks that we just wanted to stay put, have one last good dinner, and go to bed!
I am so glad we had dinner at Shula’s because the food was out of this world. They gave us gluten-free bread that was to die for, and it paired perfectly with our wine. I ordered the blackened salmon for dinner, and it was incredible! ♥

If you missed our first Disney blogs, make sure to check them out here!! (Our Day at Magic Kingdom) & (Our Day at Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom!) There are YouTube videos to go along with each post as well 😊

Questions for you!

  1. Do you think we’ll make it around the world next time?
  2. Who is your favorite Disney Character?

Our Day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom – travel blog

Welcome to part two of the Disney trip blogs (& vlogs). I’m not even halfway done blogging about this trip, and we’ve already booked my tickets back! If you haven’t read part one, make sure to check that out and then hop back over here! Day two started pretty dang early for me, but more for Caitlin. She was up at 2:30 am and out the door at 3 am to head to her first race (yup, more than one.) I woke up at 5 am, grabbed some coffee, and headed to the 10k finish line to meet her. Oh, and if you’re wondering, she kicked butt!

Coronado Springs Rix Cafe
We made it back to the resort at 7:00 am and decided to have a quick breakfast before getting ready for the day. We ate at Coronado’s Rix Cafe because it’s quick, inexpensive, and there was no wait. I had an egg-white omelet filled with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and spinach with a bowl of oatmeal on the side. And the coffee wasn’t half bad.

We headed back to the room to rest our eyes for thirty minutes, shower off, and get ready for our day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal KingdomMickey Mouse Pretzel and Beer Disney's Universal StudiosMickey Mouse Pretzel and Beer Disney's Universal StudiosWe started at Hollywood Studios around 10 am. Caitlin was running the half marathon on Sunday morning, so she chose the best treat to start carb-loading, the Mickey pretzel, and a beer. You can stop at the Anaheim Produce for Mickey pretzels, fresh fruit, margaritas, and beer.
Travel Disney's Universal Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios was packed on Saturday morning. The weather was perfect on Saturday, which meant a very crowded park.

One of the best parts of the day was riding Expedition Everest. I wanted to ride it again and again! What a fun roller coaster!

After conquering the rollercoaster, we needed something refreshing. We decided to split a Khumbu Icefall from Thirsty River. The Khumbu Icefall is a frosty mixed drink made with smooth raspberry puree mixed with Cruzan Guava Rum and blended with coconut. You can also get them made non-alcoholic.

What to eat and do at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

I know it’s been a few days, a week actually since I’ve blogged last. That’s because I spent the past four days in one of the most magical places on earth, Walt Disney World! My friend, Caitlin, ran the Disney Wine & Dine 10k and the half marathon all in the same weekend. I decided to join her (as a spectator of course), and we had so much fun exploring all of the parks and eating all of the food. We fit so much into our trip that I’m going to break this trip up into several blogs + videos! I was so excited to capture the moments for the blog, and I hope you enjoy it! If you are a Disney first, I hope this post will help you navigate your upcoming trip to Disney! If you’re a Disney pro, I hope this blog brings back all the happy feels. We plan on revisiting Disney, so if you have any recommendations for next time, leave them in the comments! Our Day at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom (Everything we ate + travel video) Your guide to Disney

TRAVEL VIDEO FOR WALT DISNEY WORLD VLOG!!!

1897 Market Charlotte airport
Our trip began on Thursday evening. We got to the airport around 6 pm and had some time to spare. We were both hungry, so we stopped into the 1897 Market. I ordered a spring mix salad with seared salmon. It had tomatoes, quinoa, granola, raisins, cucumber, and vinaigrette dressing. The salad was delicious, and it hit the spot!
Coronado springs resort disneyWe took off for Orlando around 8:30 pm. The rain and wind made the flight super rough, the guy next to me was eating the smelliest Chick-Fil-A while skyping very loudly, and I was just so grateful once the plane landed. The flight to Orlando is only an hour and fifteen minutes from Charlotte, so it’s a quick trip. We took the Disney Express bus to our hotel, which was another 35-minutes. We stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. It’s under a bit of renovation right now, so we got a pretty good deal on our room. Other than having to walk a long way to our room, the renovations didn’t bother us at all. Our stay was great, and they were so friendly there. I’d stay there again for sure!

We got to our room after midnight. We were ZONKED! I unpacked some things, brushed my teeth, and headed straight to bed. Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort best coffee at disney world
We had our trip pretty much mapped out before heading to Disney thanks to Caitlin. She’s the Disney expert. On Friday morning, we headed to the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort for breakfast. Do yourself a favor, and add this place to your list, especially if you’re a coffee lover. Their coffee is french pressed 100% Kona coffee. I’m still daydreaming about it. You can find many notes on the internet with other people who agree! Make sure to make your reservation in advance. It’s a trendy place, but for a very good reason! Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort best coffee at disney world Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort best coffee at disney world breakfast spot
Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort best coffee at disney world Tonga toastI ordered two eggs over medium, bacon, fresh fruit, and oatmeal. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection! There wasn’t a bite left. you must order the Tonga toast Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort
Caitlin ordered their famous Tonga Toast! Tonga toast is banana-stuffed sourdough french toast dusted in cinnamon sugar and topped with strawberry compote! You definitely have to check out the video so you can see this. If you want to try a famous Disney staple, you’ll have to order this.

After breakfast, we headed to the ESPN center to pick up Caitlin’s bib and race stuff at the expo. Walt Disney World Guide! What we ate, did, and saw! Magic Kingdom
And then we finally made it to the Magic Kingdom! When you are purchasing your tickets into the park, make sure to schedule your fast passes far in advance. You can connect them with your magic band, scan, and go! It’s a good idea to plan and schedule your trip using “Your Disney Experience” online or on the app.
Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World Trip Seeing all of the Christmas decorations around Disney made me feel so happy! You guys know how much I love the holidays. Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World Trip
First things first. Make sure to get a pair of Minnie ears! This photo cracks me up. I had many people messaging me about how it looks like I’m levitating in the picture. And now, I can’t unsee that. I guess Disney is just THAT magical.

When we got to Disney, we used our fast pass and rode Space Mountain. I was in the front of the cart, and it was SO MUCH FUN, yet terrifying. I could ride roller coasters all day long. I know some people hate them, but they make me feel like a kid again. I mentioned this in my video, but use fast passes for popular rides, or you’ll spend most of your day waiting in long lines. It’s so worth it. Tall Tale Inn And Cafe Pecos Bill Disney Magic Kingdom Food
You can bring your food into Disney, but that’s no fun! We wanted to get the full Disney experience. We stopped into Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe for lunch. This is a great quick stop with tons of seating. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to dine, this is a great spot. The prices were very reasonable. This cafe is located in FrontierlandTall Tale Inn And Cafe Pecos Bill Disney Magic Kingdom Food vegan, gluten free, dairy free,
We ordered a veggie bowl, the jerk lettuce wraps, guacamole, a strawberry lemonade, and churros. The veggie bowl had black beans, roasted vegetables, and yellow rice. This veggie bowl is an excellent option if you’re a vegetarian. But if you’re vegan, just ask for white rice! The warm churros are served with chocolate dipping sauce. Tall Tale Inn And Cafe Pecos Bill Disney Magic Kingdom Food Strawberry Lemonade Slush
Even if it’s just a couple of sips, you must order the strawberry lemonade slush. It’s super sour and refreshing! I can’t do too much of a sugary drink, or I’ll get a headache, but a couple of sips hit the spot. You must at least try it! This is a fun beverage to split.
Tall Tale Inn And Cafe Pecos Bill Disney Magic Kingdom Food Jerk Chicken Lettuce Wraps Gluten Free
For my lunch, I ordered the Jerk chicken lettuce wraps. This is a great gluten-free option at Disney. You can check the menus before you visit the park, so it’s not stressful when looking for something to eat. There are plenty of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options all around the parks! These jerk chicken lettuce wraps are bib lettuce cups filled with jerk chicken and topped with vegetable slaw and soy-lime vinaigrette. I added corn and salsa from the toppings bar. Our Day at Disney World's Magic Kingdom
After lunch, we spent some time riding The Pirates of The Caribbean, visiting the tiki birds (I can’t get that stupid song out of my head), we rode Aladin’s magic carpet ride, watched the performance at the castle, and walked around a ton!
Our Day at Disney World's Magic Kingdom Christmas StoreYay for the Christmas store! This Disney Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is open all year round.

Coffee at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Starbucks Main Street Bakery After hitting our wall later in the afternoon, we stopped into Main Street Bakery (aka Starbucks) for a cappuccino and iced coffee. There is a Starbucks disguised in every Disney park. Don’t go looking for a Starbucks sign because you won’t see it. Even the baristas are dressed in blue and white bakery costumes instead of the typical green apron. Once you’re inside, everything will start to look like a Starbucks again. You’ll notice the familiar food displays and menu. If you want a coffee, don’t get discouraged by the lines. They go super fast! The Mickey Mouse Pretzel at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom The Mickey Mouse Pretzel Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom
This is the iconic Mickey Pretzel! This was a perfect way for Caitlin to carb load before her race. You can find the pretzels at the Magic Kingdom at a stand on the left side of the castle.
Cinnamon Glazed Almonds Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Vegan Gluten Free Dairy free The stand also had glazed cinnamon almonds. These are a great gluten-free (& vegan option!), And they smelled just like Christmas. I ended up having some with my coffee the next day. I’m saving the Dole Whip for next time!!  Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Vegan Gluten Free Dairy free
We spent some time going in and out of the shops. There is so much to see and do! We saved a lot of things for our next visit like lunch at Be Our Guest restaurant.your guide to Walt disney world blog
We headed to Splash Mountain to use our fast pass. It started to rain, so we thought it would be a fitting ride since we were going to get wet anyway. Holy Moly! So while we were getting on the ride, Disney was under a tornado warning. We spent a couple of minutes going through the tunnel, and when we finally made it out before going down the giant drop, the overlook of Disney was terrifying! The wind was blowing, the sky was dark, and it looked like Disney was in a war zone. Caitlin and I for sure thought we were doomed! Regardless of the weather, the ride was so fun, and we got absolutely drenched! walt disney world magic kingdom town square theater
We left the park around 5 pm and headed back to the hotel to get ready for our dinner reservation. Disney has buses that will take you to the resorts, so you won’t have to worry about parking or calling Ubers. The bus ride back was fun because I met a new little friend, Maci. She wanted to do a cheer for my video, so make sure to check that out! Goodness, she was the cutest!!!
Maya Grill Coronado Springs Resort Walt Disney World Sizzling Fajitas Gluten and Dairy Free
Maya Grill Coronado Springs Resort Walt Disney World Sizzling Fajitas Gluten and Dairy Free We had our dinner at the Maya Grill at our resort in Coronado Springs. The restaurant had so many great options, so it was so hard to choose what to order! We started with some warm house-made tortilla chips and salsa. I ordered the sizzling chicken fajita skillet. It came with white rice and corn tortillas. They accommodate gluten and dairy-friendly meals. You just have to let them know, and they’ll make sure to use substitutes. I loved this because I didn’t feel sick or bloated during the trip at all. I had so many great foods, and it was so easy to find something that worked with my lifestyle.
Magic Kingdom Disney World At Night Fireworks Show Magic Kingdom Disney World At Night Fireworks Show ChristmasMagic Kingdom Disney World At Night Fireworks Show My dreams came true when we headed back to see the Christmas lights and firework show at Disney. This was one of the most magical moments of my life! Magic Kingdom Disney World At Night Fireworks Show
The firework show starts at 9:00 and lasts about fifteen minutes. I had tears just streaming down my face. I know that sound so silly, but it’s just one of those moments that gets you. You may be tired after walking around Disney all day, but you just can’t miss the fireworks. Take a break at the hotel, but then get your butt back to the fireworks. Magic Kingdom Disney World At Night Fireworks Show
The show is more than just the fireworks. The castle is like a screen, and it had different videos playing from each famous Disney song. If you watch my video, you’ll see what I mean!
