I fell in love with The Greystone Inn at Lake Toxaway because it reminded me of a mini version of Lake Como nestled in North Carolina. When Kyle and I originally planned to get married in Lake Como before the pandemic, we wanted to do photos on a wooden boat, and when I found out that they had a wooden boat club in Lake Toxaway, I knew right away this was where we would get married. Of course, we had to schedule a wooden boat photoshoot before our rehearsal dinner to kick off the wedding weekend. I’m in love with how the photos turned out, and I will cherish them forever! Our photographer, Amanda, was so much fun to work with! She hopped on the boat with us like a champ to capture the photos. A big thank you to Les Rue, the captain of our boat! He made this evening so special for us, and he even took us back to his doc to change up boats because he had two gorgeous wooden boats.
Thanks for stopping by to read! ♥️ I hope these photos inspire you to schedule a boat photoshoot soon! 😊

Are you starting up with the weekly recaps again soon? I feel like it’s been forever since the last one and I love them. Even if you don’t do much one week it’s still so relaxing and nice to read and see all your beautiful pictures of everything.

Hi, Mie!
I will eventually. I’ve been really sick lately so it’s been hard for me to open a computer at all! I’ll be back to posting regularly eventually!
