Hello from New Jersey!
We were supposed to be home a few days ago, but our flights kept getting canceled due to the huge snowstorm that swept through the city! It’s still currently snowing, but I think we’ll be on track for a morning flight home. I can’t lie; I was so excited when it started snowing. Kyle and I were sitting at dinner celebrating my birthday when the blizzard started. The views of new york city in the snow were absolutely stunning. Snowy days were my favorite as a kid because that meant no school and sledding!
I haven’t spent much time on the computer because we’ve been hanging out with family, but when I get home, I have so many fun blog posts for you! You can look out for the book club picks, a recap post from my 30th birthday, and a whole lot of recipes!
I figured I’d share some fun snow photos we took outside today before I head upstairs to finish our movie and have a delicious snowed-in takeout dinner with the family. I’ll share some of the outfit details at the end of the post if you’re interested 😊

Oh the snow is so pretty!! never had a snow day and I love snow but have to drive for 3 hours to see it. have fun and enjoy the snow.

Love the photos! You’ve definitely had a hard time getting back home with all the cancelled flights, but I’m so happy you’re making the most of it and enjoying the snow. 🙂 I am not a fan of snow mostly because I hate the cold, but I’ve sort of embraced it over the weekend. Here in Ohio we finally got quite a bit of snow. I had planned ahead and had everything we needed so the hubby and I just stayed in, watched some fun tv shows and enjoyed not having to drive in it, haha.

Yes, it took a few days but we had extra baby cuddles with our family so it was nice!

Love the snow, though I don’t get it very often living near the beach. I do have family in Utah though so it’s nice to go visit them. We did have a few rainy days here in Seal Beach and I made the most delicious and easy potato crockpot soup and some fresh blueberry muffins!
OMG Utah is my bucket list state to travel to in the winter and summer! It’s so beautiful!

I think it’s claled The little things! It had Denzel Washington in it. The movie was okkkkkk 😆 Good acting but kind of an unexciting ending.
